Shipping policy

Known Elsewhere prints are made to order and sold unframed. Shipping is free within the contiguous United States. Shipping cost is included in the print price—you are not charged a separate shipping fee at checkout for eligible addresses.

Where we ship

We ship to the 48 contiguous U.S. states and Washington, D.C. only.

We do not ship to Alaska, Hawaii, U.S. territories, or addresses outside the United States. If your address is outside this area, checkout will not show a shipping method.

How long it takes

Each print is produced after you order, then handed to the carrier.

Production: typically 1–3 business days
Transit (contiguous U.S.): typically 2–5 business days after the print ships
Typical total: about 3–8 business days after you order

Business days exclude weekends and U.S. public holidays. Peak periods and carrier delays can extend timing. Estimates at checkout or in order emails are guidance, not a guarantee.

Tracking

When your print ships, you will receive a shipping confirmation with tracking when available. Use that link for the most current status.

Packaging

Prints ship unframed in protective packaging suited to the size. Frames shown in product photos are for styling only and are not included.

Addresses

You are responsible for a complete and accurate shipping address. If production has not started, email us right away and we will try to update it. We cannot guarantee changes after an order is submitted.

If a parcel is returned because of an incorrect address or failed delivery, additional production or reshipping costs may apply.

Lost or delayed parcels

If tracking shows no delivery after the estimated window, email hello@knownelsewhere.com. We will investigate with the carrier and fulfillment partner.

Returns

Because each print is made to order, we do not accept returns for change of mind or the wrong size. Damaged, misprinted, or incorrect orders are covered in our refund policy.
